Job Title: Locksmith

Location: Reisterstown Plaza, Baltimore, MD
Shifts Available: Full Time Day Shift / Full time Night Shift

Advanced Security Safe and Lock is a busy family owned company looking for responsible full – time shop and road service technicians. Must have at least two years experience as a locksmith but we are willing to train the right applicant.

Locksmith applicants should be able to perform locksmith duties including repairing and servicing residential and commercial lock hardware and automobiles. As well as operate all types of tools and equipment normally used in the locksmith trade including, key machines (automatic, semi-automatic, flat steel, 1200cm code machines, grinder machines), portable machinery (circular saw, jig saw, belt sander, orbital sander, router, lock mortise machine), powered bench and hand tools (such as drills, grinders, compressed air), as well as non-powered hand tools.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write and understand English
• Answer all dispatches promptly and maintain politeness, pay attention to the needs of customers and management
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure
• Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform job functions
• Must be able to push/ lift 50lbs or more
• Must be able to stoop, crouch, kneel and reach with hand and arms
• Require manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment
• Exposed to hot and cold temperatures consistent with changing seasons up to 7 ½ hrs. per shift
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to communicate necessary part orders to management
• Must be able to upsell other products and services
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts
• Must be organized

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 to $18.00/hour based on experience but negotiable for the right candidate
Probationary period of 90 days
